The latest UK boxed charts are now in, giving us an idea of what’s going on in the world of physical game sales. The answer this week: nothing new, really.<\/p>\n

After a slightly quieter week for Nintendo after the Easter break, this week’s standing does see a few more titles from the Big N breaking into the charts. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe<\/a> has overtaken the competition, moving up two places and currently sitting in second, while Super Mario Odyssey<\/a> continues to sell well thanks to the release of the new Switch bundle and the Mario Movie<\/strong>, this time landing in fifth place.<\/p>\n

It’s FIFA 23<\/a> that scores another victory this time around, with the Switch accounting for 27% of boxed sales (leaving it as the game’s second most-popular console, after the PS5 on 49%). Minecraft<\/a> and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe<\/a> round out the week’s top ten, with the likes of Nintendo Switch Sports<\/a>, Animal Crossing: New Horizons<\/a> and Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/a> all bagging a spot in the teens.<\/p>\n

Devolver Digital’s Cult of the Lamb<\/a> has also managed to make its way into the top 40 this week, landing at 28th with 78% of sales coming from the Switch.<\/p>\n
