Since risks surrounding the virus have decreased, and vaccines are readily available, the corporate world has been pushing for a <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/articles\/21\/06\/02\/apple-asks-employees-to-conduct-limited-in-office-work-starting-in-september\">return to office<\/a> \u2014 but not without some resistance.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>According to a tweet from <em>Platformer&#8217;s<\/em> Zoe Schiffer, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2023\/03\/22\/apple-remote-work-policies-monitoring\/#more-872303\">first reported<\/a> by <em>9to5Mac<\/em>, Apple is tracking in-person employee attendance via badge records. Those who do not come in three times per week are given escalating warnings.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>While it isn&#8217;t a direct policy from Apple, some organizations within the company say failure to comply could result in termination, reports Schiffer.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>That means if an employee is terminated due to failure to comply with the return to office mandate, Apple has one less employee to pay.
