Hello, and welcome to another edition of Box Art Brawl<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Last time, we kept the metaphorical Morph Ball rolling with another Metroid game: Metroid Fusion<\/a>. The end result was surprisingly close, all told, but Japan managed to claim the victory with 57% of the vote. We guess folks like the blue goo!<\/p>\n

This week, we’re going to check out another GBA game, and it’s one that is currently earmarked to appear on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack alongside Metroid Fusion, and that’s Golden Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Released in 2001 (or 2002 if you’re in Europe), Golden Sun is still to this day held as one of the finest RPG games of all time, with many critics praising the exceptional visuals and throwbacks to the SNES era of role-playing.<\/p>\n

The designs here are pretty similar, and since the west got the same variant, it’s going to be another duel against Japan’s landscape design. So let’s get to it!<\/p>\n
