A brand new animated short for Pok\u00e9mon is releasing in China the day after Pok\u00e9mon Day called ‘Journey of Dreams’. Spotted by Serebii<\/a>, the short will debut on 28th February, and the reveal poster has got us all feeling a bit nostalgic.<\/p>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon Company knows just how to tap into our nostalgia, and the debut poster \u2014 shared on Chinese social network site Weibo (thanks, Pok\u00e9Jungle<\/a>!) \u2014 features a young boy looking up at all sorts of Pok\u00e9mon and environments, all while holding a Game Boy in his hands. In front of him, you can spot a GBA, a Game Boy Color, a DS, and a DS Lite, and if you’re Pok\u00e9mon fans like us, you’ve likely owned almost every single one of those.<\/p>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon on the poster are from different Gens too \u2014 while favourites like Pikachu, Charizard, Lapras, and Mewtwo are present, more recent additions like Tsareena, Yveltal, and Lycanroc (Midnight Form). The environments look like they’re based on other Pok\u00e9mon games too \u2014 we definitely get some Black & White<\/a> vibes from the temple on the left (we’re thinking N’s flashbacks), and Spear Pillar’s broken columns from Diamond & Pearl<\/a> are being invoked on the right.<\/p>\n
