Publisher Team17 has shared all of the details for the patch over <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.team17.com\/the-knight-witch-nintendo-switch-patch-out-now\/\">on its blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team&#8217;s fast-paced action game \u2014 in our own words \u2014 &#8220;mixes things up a bit&#8221; and is a refreshing take on the Metroidvania genre. But we did note some technical issues, including soft locks, in our review. But, with today&#8217;s update, it looks like a lot of those early issues may well be magicked away.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the full patch notes from today&#8217;s The Knight Witch update:<\/p>\n<p>Version 1.0.5, 23rd February 2023<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>BUG FIXES<br \/>&#8211; Fixed crash when changing language.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed crash when interacting with an NPC after changing language.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed FPS drop when controller gets disconnected in the loading screen.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed game hard lock resulting from disconnecting the controller in the Controls menu.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed issues when binding spells or the Action\/Talk button to L3 and\/or R3.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed issue with missing controller re-mapping functionality.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug where player can ignore collision and get stuck in the wall in Giga Tree.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug allowing player to leave the limits of the Hextinction battle.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug where Rayne would spawn after death with an incomplete animation.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed black screen sometimes present during the ambush\u2019s banner.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug which freezes weapon durability counter.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug where \u2018Laser Gun\u2019 spell wouldn\u2019t fire when pointed towards an open door.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed spawning circles not being centred on the spawning location.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed issues arising from interacting with a beacon after using a timer spell.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug where forge popcorns don\u2019t explode when using \u2018Ray of Death\u2019 spell.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed collision not being properly implemented for the door asset in Giga Tree.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed turrets lacking collision with the player in Giga Tree.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug stopping player from toggling options while changing languages.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed issues with warning text appearing overlapped when trying to buy items in shop without the proper number of shards.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed bug where character name and avatar don\u2019t correspond during dialogue.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed several localisation typos and mistranslations.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you&#8217;re playing the game on other consoles, don&#8217;t worry, a similar patch will be ready for other platforms <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Team17\/status\/1628788549838331909\">in the near future<\/a>.
