But don&#8217;t worry, there&#8217;s still plenty to talk about, and plenty of games on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/pokemon_scarlet_and_violet\">Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet &amp; Violet<\/a>&#8216;s big patch is coming soon, and we&#8217;ve got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2023\/02\/pokemon-scarlet-and-violet-version-1-2-0-launching-late-february-here-are-the-full-patch-notes\">all of the patch notes<\/a> for you. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/xenoblade_chronicles_3\">Xenoblade Chronicles 3<\/a>&#8216;s Wave 3 of DLC is out now too, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2023\/02\/xenoblade-chronicles-3-version-1-3-0-is-now-available-here-are-the-full-patch-notes\">a brand new hero in Masha<\/a>. And Modern Vintage Gamer is full of praise for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2023\/02\/video-mvg-investigates-switch-onlines-impressive-game-boy-and-gba-emulation\">Switch&#8217;s Game Boy and GBA emulation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week was, however, a busy week for reviews. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/theatrhythm_final_bar_line\">Theatrhythm Final Bar Line<\/a> is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/nintendo-switch\/theatrhythm-final-bar-line\">incredible musical anniversary celebration<\/a> of Final Fantasy; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/blanc\">Blanc<\/a>&#8216;s beautiful visuals serve as the backdrop for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/switch-eshop\/blanc\">pleasant co-op game<\/a>; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/octopath_traveler_ii\">Octopath Traveler II<\/a> (out next week) improves on the original to become one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/nintendo-switch\/octopath-traveler-ii\">best RPGs on the Switch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/features\/samus-suits-ranked-every-metroid-box-art-suit-design-from-worst-to-best\">ranked all of Samus&#8217; box art suits<\/a> throughout the Metroid series, we&#8217;re debating which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/features\/talking-point-which-nintendo-console-has-the-best-first-party-games-lineup\">Nintendo console has the best first-party library<\/a>, and we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our favourite handheld \u2014 the GBA SP \u2014 by sharing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/features\/talking-point-20-years-of-the-best-game-boy-ever-how-did-you-get-your-gba-sp\">our memories with the console<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- cache: html:nintendolife.com\/ssl\/nintendo-switch\/related-articles:144511 @ 2023-02-19T07:00:48+00:00 --><\/p>\n<aside class=\"block object-related\"> <\/aside>\n<p>With that all out of the way, it&#8217;s time to sit back, relax, and check out what the Nintendo Life staff are up to this weekend. Make sure you leave a comment with your own gaming plans!<\/p>\n<h2>Ollie Reynolds, Staff Writer<\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;m still blasting my way through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/metroid_prime_remastered\">Metroid Prime Remastered<\/a> this weekend. I&#8217;m playing the game on Hard difficulty now, which is unlocked when you complete one playthrough. It&#8217;s definitely a nice challenge and it makes me wish the option was actually available from the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, I&#8217;m still having fun checking out the new Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games added to Nintendo Switch Online. I haven&#8217;t played <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gba\/mario_and_luigi_superstar_saga\">Mario &amp; Luigi: Superstar Saga<\/a> since its initial release back in 2003, so it feels wonderful to get reacquainted with it. It looks <em>gorgeous<\/em>, right?<\/p>\n<h2>Alana Hagues, Staff Writer<\/h2>\n<p>Not many changes from last week for me, I&#8217;m afraid. I wanted to actually beat Metroid Prime Remastered but the week proved a lot busier than I expected, so that&#8217;ll be my main focus. Otherwise, I&#8217;m fifty hours deep with Theatrhythm Final Bar Line and there are no signs of me stopping anytime soon, despite having written our review \u2014 I need all of those CollectaCards, after all! And I have some friends who want to get together and play when they&#8217;ve brushed up, so I can&#8217;t get rusty.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also still going in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/hollow_knight\">Hollow Knight<\/a> despite having to shift focus away from my replay for a bit, but I only have the final boss left to beat. I&#8217;d like to actually beat at least the four main Pantheons this time, too \u2014 we&#8217;ll see if that happens. No, don&#8217;t ask me about the Pantheon of Hallownest. I managed to squeeze two prologues out of it so I will probably level up my party a bit before the clock runs out and I&#8217;m left to wait until next Friday to resume this HD-2D adventure. Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is proving to be quite an effective time-waster while simultaneously reshaping the definition of &#8216;the grind&#8217;. The spirit of GameCube continues to shine strong with both remasters of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/tales_of_symphonia_remastered\">Tales of Symphonia<\/a> and Metroid Prime reminding me why the 6th generation represents some of the happiest times in my life. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/rooftop_renegade\">Rooftop Renegade<\/a> also looks like a hoot, so I will likely do some renegading this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Game of the week is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gba\/legend_of_zelda_the_minish_cap\">The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap<\/a>. Could Capcom do no wrong on the GBA?<\/p>\n<h2>Gavin Lane, Editor<\/h2>\n<p>I blasted through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gameboy\/gargoyles_quest\">Gargoyle&#8217;s Quest<\/a> last weekend, and I quite fancy ticking another Game Boy quickie off the list. Elsewhere, I need to get back to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/chained_echoes\">Chained Echoes<\/a>, and everyone&#8217;s saying this Metroid Prime thingy isn&#8217;t bad \u2014 who knows, I might give that a looksie.<\/p>\n<p>Also, has anyone played <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/rain_world\">Rain World<\/a>?
