He was the lead producer on the musou spin-offs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps4\/dragon_quest_heroes_the_world_trees_woe_and_the_blight_below\" class=\"external\">Dragon Quest Heroes<\/a> and its sequel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps4\/dragon_quest_heroes_ii\" class=\"external\">Dragon Quest Heroes II<\/a> as lead producer, while also helping out on a number of mainline Dragon Quest titles. The Heroes duology has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/dragon_quest_heroes_ibii\">rereleased as a package<\/a> on Switch, but in Japan only.<\/p>\n<p>Aomi was incredibly thankful is his parting message on social media. The game is getting a HD-2D remake, though we&#8217;ve not heard anything about that for a little while. <strong>Dragon Quest XII<\/strong> is also in development, but like its pixel-perfect predecessor, has also been missing in action since 2021.<\/p>\n<p><em>How do you feel about the news of Aomi&#8217;s departure?
