Unlike the usual patches and improvements, the purpose of this update it mainly about achieving a greater sense of balance in battles.<\/p>\n<p>Setting about solving this problem, the team have adapted many of the fighters&#8217; moves so that the battles seem that little bit fairer. This includes adjusting cooldown periods between attacks, changing the damage dealt by certain moves and increasing\/decreasing defence stats where appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>This, of course, comes alongside the standard bug fixes and tweaks. All of the changes can be found in the full patch notes below:<\/p>\n<h2>Pok\u00e9mon Unite ver. 1.8.1.4 (21st December, 2022)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Update Details<\/strong><br \/>&#8211; Battle Pass Updates<br \/>&#8211; Ranked Match Updates<br \/>&#8211; Shop Updates<br \/>&#8211; Event Updates<br \/>&#8211; Bug Fixes<br \/>&#8211; Text Fixes<\/p>\n<p>If the game has not been updated on your device, please restart the game to apply this update.<br \/>While the game is updating, you may not be able to connect to the server. If this occurs, please try again later.<br \/>Changes have been made to some Pok\u00e9mon and moves to adjust the balance of Unite Battles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Details<br \/><\/strong><strong>Sableye<\/strong><br \/>&#8211; Confuse Ray\u2019s ability to hinder opponents was too powerful and has been nerfed.<br \/><strong>Confuse Ray<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 8 sec. \u2192 10 sec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duraludon<\/strong><br \/>&#8211; Dragon Pulse\u2019s ability to concentrate damage was too powerful, while Dragon Tail and Revolving Ruin\u2019s ability to defend the user was too powerful. These have been nerfed accordingly.<br \/><strong>Dragon Tail<br \/><\/strong>Time it takes to stock one reserve use: 12 sec. \u2192 14 sec.<br \/>Minimum time between uses: 2 sec. \u2192 2.5 sec.<br \/><strong>Dragon Pulse<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 8 sec. \u2192 9 sec.<br \/>Additional damage from damage markers: reduced by 25%<br \/><strong>Revolving Ruin<br \/><\/strong>Shield effect: reduced by 15%<br \/>Movement speed decrease for opposing Pok\u00e9mon that touch the burning ring: reduced by about 20%<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dodrio<\/strong><br \/>&#8211; The mobility granted by Agility was too high and has been nerfed. Jump Kick has been buffed to allow Dodrio to leap more during battle.<br \/><strong>Agility<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 10 sec. \u2192 11 sec.<br \/>Increased movement speed effect: reduced by 20%<br \/><strong>Jump Kick<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 7.5 sec. \u2192 6.5 sec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Azumarill<br \/><\/strong>&#8211; Water Pulse\u2019s offensive and defensive capabilities were too powerful, so it has been nerfed.<br \/><strong>Water Pulse<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 4 sec. \u2192 5 sec.<br \/>Damage: reduced by about 10%<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buzzwole<br \/><\/strong>&#8211; Buzzwole previously took too long to reach its full potential, so its Ability has been adjusted to help it become a more active participant in battle. Certain moves have been nerfed to balance this change.<br \/><strong>Beast Boost<br \/><\/strong>Now increases the muscle gauge even when Buzzwole deals damage to wild Pok\u00e9mon<br \/><strong>Lunge<br \/><\/strong>Time it takes to stock one reserve use: 6 sec. \u2192 7.5 sec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cinderace<br \/><\/strong>&#8211; Pyro Ball, which leaves the user very exposed, has been buffed so that it can deal a suitable amount of damage.<br \/><strong>Pyro Ball<br \/><\/strong>Damage dealt to opposing Pok\u00e9mon: increased by 8%<\/p>\n<p><strong>Urshifu<br \/><\/strong>&#8211; Liquidation has been buffed so that Rapid Strike Style Urshifu can stay in fights longer.<br \/><strong>Liquidation<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 12 sec. \u2192 10 sec.<br \/>Shield effect: increased by 20%<br \/><strong>Liquidation+<br \/><\/strong>Cooldown: 10 sec. \u2192 9 sec.<br \/>Shield effect: increased by 20%<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>The Pok\u00e9mon Unite ver. 1.8.1.4 update is available now.<\/p>\n<p><!-- cache: html:nintendolife.com\/ssl\/nintendo-switch\/related-articles:142650 @ 2022-12-22T09:44:23+00:00 --><\/p>\n<aside class=\"block object-related\"> <\/aside>\n<p><em>What do you make of these changes?
