I&#8217;m obsessed. It&#8217;s two mice, and their evolution is two mice plus babies. <em>That&#8217;s not evolution, that&#8217;s biology<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>They also look so adorably stupid, with their blank little eyes and their expressionless little faces, and I&#8217;m a sucker for any round Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n<p>Also, honourable mention to Dudunsparce, for similar reasons \u2014 it&#8217;s just such a goofy idea for a design. &#8220;Dunsparce, but more&#8221;. It&#8217;s a Rock\/Poison type that&#8217;s likely based on copper sulphate, a toxic compound that&#8217;s formed of blue crystals. But it&#8217;s a really beautiful take on it \u2014 Glimmora looks like a crystallised flower, and while most of the time it floats around in a kind of bullet form, sometimes it hangs on the walls face-first. It&#8217;s a really simple, sleek design that I&#8217;ve grown attached to.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture\"><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"The Best Pok\u00e9mon Designs of Gen 9: Tatsugiri\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/453d20e6845fa\/the-best-pokemon-designs-of-gen-9-tatsugiri.large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciIHZpZXdCb3g9IjAgMCA5MDAgNTA2Ij48L3N2Zz4=\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" data-original=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/453d20e6845fa\/the-best-pokemon-designs-of-gen-9-tatsugiri.900x.jpg\" alt=\"The Best Pok\u00e9mon Designs of Gen 9: Tatsugiri\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption\"><em class=\"credit\">Image: Nintendo Life<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Shoutout to Tatsugiri, who is the funniest concept for a Dragon-type Pok\u00e9mon <em>ever<\/em>. A sushi fish? With three different variations? It&#8217;s so stupid, but I love it all the same. The little thing is just <em>so<\/em> adorable, yet somehow exudes remarkable power. In short, Charcadet would have been the perfect fire starter Pok\u00e9mon had we not already got Fuecoco.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, I&#8217;m almost hesitant to follow the relevant steps to evolve Charcadet, because I&#8217;ve grown so unreasonably attached to it. It&#8217;s proven itself to be a great member of my team and held its own against several gym leaders and titan Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n<p>A special shoutout, however, goes to Pawmi.
