It appears The Pok\u00e9mon Company is once again banning any trainers who break the rules in the mainline Pok\u00e9mon games.<\/p>\n

Yes, ahead of the release of Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet<\/a> next week, Serebii.net<\/a> reveals The Pok\u00e9mon Company has “begun a new wave” of bans on Pok\u00e9mon HOME<\/a> and the mainline games on the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n

“The Pok\u00e9mon Company have begun a new ban wave through Pok\u00e9mon HOME and the main series games on Switch, restricting online features from the main games and Pok\u00e9mon HOME for using illegally modified Pok\u00e9mon and other unintended measures.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the source, these bans can be either “temporary or permanent” and will lock players out of online play – including battling, trading, and transferring Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

Again, it’s not the first time it’s done something like this. When Sword and Shield<\/a> were in their prime, The Pok\u00e9mon Company also took action against players who were deliberately disconnecting, threatening to “permanently ban” them.<\/p>\n
