The roguelike deck-building indie darling from developer Daniel Mullins found its way onto many a GOTY 2021 list with its PC release last October, and it seems we&#8217;ll soon be enjoying its unique strangeness on Nintendo&#8217;s console.<\/p>\n<p>As pointed out by redoubtable pointer-outer-of-things <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Wario64\/status\/1576970194018127881\">Wario64<\/a>, the game has appeared listed with an (inaccurate) 1st October 2022 release date, sitting just under the PS4 and PS5 versions which launched back in August.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture\"><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Inscryption PEGI Rating\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/67cc4b884c4d3\/inscryption-pegi-rating.large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciIHZpZXdCb3g9IjAgMCA5MDAgMTUyIj48L3N2Zz4=\" width=\"900\" height=\"152\" data-original=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/67cc4b884c4d3\/inscryption-pegi-rating.original.jpg\" alt=\"Inscryption PEGI Rating\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption\"><em class=\"credit\">Image: <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/pegi.info\/search-pegi?q=inscryption&amp;op=Search&amp;age%5B%5D=&amp;descriptor%5B%5D=&amp;publisher=&amp;platform%5B%5D=&amp;release_year%5B%5D=&amp;page=1&amp;form_build_id=form-5FFj-aYjKZkqdEfTv1zRIcroziLYCIrKBnftA71arxU&amp;form_id=pegi_search_form\">PEGI<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In fact, the dates of the PlayStation versions are also wrong \u2014 the game launched on 30th August on those platforms, which <em>might<\/em> lead you to speculate that we&#8217;ll see Inscryption on Switch before the end of the month. Regardless, it seems the critically-acclaimed game is Switch-bound, something that we&#8217;re rather happy about having placed it on our list of games we&#8217;d like to see come to Nintendo&#8217;s console <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/features\/14-nintendo-switch-ports-wed-still-love-to-see\">at the start of the year<\/a>. <em>Another one bites the dust!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Steam version boasts a very impressive 71,335 reviews at the time of writing, with the coveted <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/1092790\/Inscryption\/\">&#8216;Overwhelmingly Positive&#8217;<\/a> rating, too.
