We did it folks! We made it through the barrage of game releases \u2014 more commonly known as ‘September’ \u2014 and we live to write another day! Though October is looking just as packed… *gulp*<\/em><\/p>\n

Here at Nintendo Life, we’ve played through the unofficial Super Mario Bros. 5 fan game<\/a> made entirely in Super Mario Maker 2<\/a>, gotten silly with life sims<\/a> and lauded Lord of the Rings RPGs<\/a> of old. It has also been an exciting week as we found out not only that Cuphead<\/a> would be getting a physical release<\/a>, but we got our first look at Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet<\/a>‘s newest ‘mon Wiglett<\/a> \u2014 he’s quite the weird little fella!
<\/em><\/p>\n

After getting a hands-on sneak peek<\/a> at Sonic Frontiers<\/a>, perhaps we will be turning to some of the hedgehog’s former adventures in preparation this weekend. Or maybe, after sharing our thoughts on Tunic<\/a> and reviewing Let’s Build a Zoo<\/a>, we’ll be checking out both of those!

I bought a Splatoon 3<\/a> OLED as a birthday treat for myself \u2013 and my goodness that screen really makes a difference, doesn\u2019t it? I\u2019ve been dipping into Xenoblade Chronicles 3<\/a> (again) and the colours really pop on the OLED \u2014 I know it doesn’t run amazing in handheld mode, but my in-bed Xenoblade gaming has improved tenfold. Have I run out of things to do yet? Of course I haven\u2019t. I can\u2019t put it down even though I\u2019m in the postgame!<\/p>\n

Otherwise, I\u2019m getting ready for some of the big October releases. I\u2019m going back to Bayonetta<\/a> and finally checking that one off my backlog, and also revisiting Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle<\/a>. And, in terms of new stuff, I\u2019m going to give Let\u2019s Build a Zoo<\/a> a spin. Spliced animals? What a horror show! But I\u2019m in all the way.<\/p>\n
