Apologies in advance!<\/em><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>If you&#8217;re at all tuned in to gaming news, you&#8217;ll probably have noticed the seemingly-endless and slightly-worrying number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/tags\/embracer\">news posts<\/a> about acquisitions over the past few years \u2014 and that one of the names cropping up over and over again is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/companies\/embracer_group\">Embracer Group<\/a>, which seems to be snarfing up game studios left and right.<\/p>\n<p>But at this point, you&#8217;re probably wondering \u2014 okay, what do they actually own the rights to now? Sure, Embracer Group themselves won&#8217;t be <em>making<\/em> the games, but they have the power to order new entries in a fair few IPs at this point, most recently the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2022\/08\/embracer-group-acquires-limited-run-games-lord-of-the-rings-ip-and-more\">Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series<\/a>, which they acquired in August of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>So, et&#8217;s take a look at a (non-exhaustive) list of the biggest IPs, franchises, and titles that Embracer now owns:<\/p>\n<h3>Video Games &amp; Series<\/h3>\n<p>It also looks like they hold a large number of shares in the companies that make the following games:<\/p>\n<p>And, finally, they also own Limited Run Games, a physical publisher of video games (which hasn&#8217;t actually developed any in-house).<\/p>\n<h3>Comics, Movies &amp;
