The heat’s back, and we’re desperately trying to stay indoors here at Nintendo Life. We’ve got a round-up of everything that was shown off in the Splatoon 3 Nintendo Direct!<\/a> Also, were feeling a bit peckish after Kirby’s Dream Buffet got a release date<\/a>. And there’s a beautiful hand-drawn Metroidvania featuring cats<\/a> coming to Switch later this month!<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking of Splatoon 3<\/a>, some of us on the team were a bit worried about the upcoming sequel, but this Direct may have alleviated our worries<\/a>. We spoke to the team behind indie hit Cult of the Lamb<\/a> and poked fun at the ‘evil Animal Crossing<\/strong>‘ comparisons. And, apparently, liking Krookodile makes this writer a big crocodile fan (not denying it) \u2014 but what does your favourite Pok\u00e9mon say about you<\/a>?

This weekend I am legitimately stoked to jump into Cult of the Lamb<\/a>. I bought a bunch of visual novels in the recent eShop sale \u2014 13 Sentinels<\/a>, and Danganronpa 1<\/a> and 2<\/a>, and<\/em> I still have to finish AI: The Somnium Files<\/a> \u2014 but those are on hold after I saw the reviews for Cult of the Lamb. I mean, I was already excited about it. And then I did an interview with the art director, and I just got more<\/em> excited. I love cute stuff and I love murdering people to appease my chthonic patron deity.<\/p>\n

Oh, and Portal 2<\/a>. I finished Portal 1<\/strong> for Backlog Club already!<\/p>\n
