The highlight of the week for many Nintendo fans was the long-awaited announcement of the Bayonetta 3<\/a> release date. Yes, after years of Hideki Kamiya telling us development is going well, and everything is fine, the teams at Nintendo and PlatinumGames have finally<\/em> locked in a release date.<\/p>\n

Bayonetta is back on 28th October 2022 in an all-new adventure, where you – the player – will fight your way through the streets of Tokyo, the mountains of China and many other stunning locales. You’ll even take control of other<\/em> Bayonettas such as Viola – a “feisty witch” in training who fights with both a sword and a demon.<\/p>\n

A physical version of the game has been announced, but if you’re considering a digital version (available via the Switch eShop and Nintendo website), you’ll be interested to know the new game will require approximately 15GB<\/strong> of free space. In comparison, Bayonetta 2<\/a> on the Nintendo Switch is just 12.4GB<\/strong> and the original Bayonetta<\/a> game on Nintendo’s hybrid system is 8.6GB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
