Luckily it isn&#8217;t dealing in squids or meat of any kind, but it used to be a Metalworks that created more scrap metal. It seems like the new stages in Splatoon 3 are following a bit of a pattern, with the last one \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2022\/06\/check-out-undertow-spillway-a-new-splatoon-3-map-hidden-under-splatsville\">Undertow Spillway<\/a> \u2014 also being a little bit grey and metallic.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This new multiplayer stage, Mincemeat Metalworks, was made from scrap metal in order to make more scrap metal. There used to be a sea here, but it evaporated, leaving behind a wasteland. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Splatoon3?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Splatoon3<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/qdXghVuqeK\">pic.twitter.com\/qdXghVuqeK<\/a><\/span>\u2014 Nintendo UK (@NintendoUK) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NintendoUK\/status\/1543900372800086016?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 4, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Mincemeat Metalworks, however, is out in the open, but it&#8217;s rusted, and left out in the middle of an evaporated ocean and surrounded by a wasteland. Things have gotten a bit rough in the Splatoon world, haven&#8217;t they? Good thing we can brighten it up even more with a splash of colour.<\/p>\n<p>Amusingly, some fans have \u2014 at a quick glance \u2014 misread the title as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/minecraft\">Minecraft<\/a> Metalworks on Twitter. Now that <em>is<\/em> a crossover we&#8217;d love to see!<\/p>\n<p>Splatoon 3 launches on 9th September on Switch. <em>How do you think the upcoming game is shaping up?
