We’re over halfway through the year now \u2014 isn’t that a scary thought? And our calendars are about to get even busier after that Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase<\/a>! But outside of that mammoth mini, rumours of a Metroid Prime 1 remaster are swirling once again<\/a>. Sabotage’s Sea of Stars has been delayed out of its 2022 window<\/a>. And modders have already got Half-Life 2 to run on the Switch thanks to the Portal: Companion Collection<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking of Portal, it’s safe to say we think the port of 1 and 2 on Switch is darn excellent \u2014 just check out our review<\/a>! We’ve also picked our favourite games of 2022 so far<\/a>. And along with a release date, we spoke to the Mario + Rabbids producer about the upcoming sequel<\/a>.

Here we are midway into 2022 and the games just keep on pilling up! This weekend at long last I will suffer like G. did in House of the Dead Remake<\/a>, explore the curious Young Souls<\/a>, ensue mischief with Rabbids: Party of Legends<\/a>, and pretend I have time to jump into Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak<\/a> (I definitely won\u2019t\u2026) while still struggling with Valkyria Chronicles<\/a> later chapters.<\/p>\n

Game of the week is a slice of DLC… a delicious slice if you will. Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course<\/a> was truly worth the wait. Yum, yum!<\/p>\n
