Two of these will be released in summer, and the other two will be unleashed this winter. These fighters have not been revealed yet. In addition to this, a series of free updates will be rolled out.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture ptris\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciIHZpZXdCb3g9IjAgMCA5MDAgNTA2Ij48L3N2Zz4=\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" data-original=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/a8d1864b16525\/01-additionalcharacters.900x.jpg\" alt=\"01 AdditionalCharacters\"><\/figure>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at what&#8217;s to come (<em>thanks, Gematsu<\/em>):<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Major updates to all characters and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Combo damage is now displayed during a fight.<\/li>\n<li>Increased custom color slots in customize mode.<\/li>\n<li>Added \u201cSave State and Resume State\u201d to Training Mode Restart.<\/li>\n<li>Added a new feature to the Replay Mode to make replay viewing more convenient.<\/li>\n<li>Modified to be able to pass when the number of players in a room is small in a player match.<\/li>\n<li>Modified player match invitation function for ranked matches.<\/li>\n<li>Training standby for ranked matches has been modified to make it easier to match.<\/li>\n<li>Functional modification and improvement of network mode.<\/li>\n<li>Other major renovations and feature additions planned!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Game Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two new Official Tournament Commemorative Plates can be purchased from the menu screen for 4,000 CP.<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 400 Free Words added.<\/li>\n<li>Added simple messages to player matches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There&#8217;ll also be a <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/battlefy.com\/melty-bloodtype-lumina-official-tournament-united-states-hosted-by-eliphant\">special tournament<\/a> hosted by &#8220;Eliphant&#8221; in the US &#8211; with participation prizes, cash prizes and more.
