A story over on <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/06\/01\/summer-game-fest-e3-2022\">Axios<\/a> reveals the publisher likely won&#8217;t host another event until later on in 2022.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Ubisoft had held E3-timed showcases annually in June for years, but a company rep tells Axios the publisher won&#8217;t have another until &#8220;later this year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Ubisoft Forward event last year saw the official reveal of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/mario_plus_rabbids_sparks_of_hope\"><strong>Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope<\/strong><\/a>. Without this showcase, Nintendo could potentially share more details about this game at one of its own Direct presentations in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>In Ubisoft&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2022\/05\/mario-plus-rabbids-sparks-of-hope-still-on-track-for-2022-release\">most recent earnings report<\/a>, it was reconfirmed the game was still on track for 2022, but there&#8217;s still no solid release date. It also shared what else to expect this year:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>For 2022-23 we look to return to significant topline growth. It will be mostly driven by a diverse line-up of premium games, including Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora\u2122, Mario + Rabbids\u00ae: Sparks of Hope and Skull &amp; Bones\u00ae, as well as other exciting titles. This growth will also benefit from our Free-to-Play releases, especially those based on our biggest IPs.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One other &#8220;exciting release&#8221; coming to the Switch is the recently announced <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/rabbids_party_of_legends\">Rabbids: Party of Legends<\/a><\/strong>.
