Except it&#8217;s less of a name change, and more of a &#8220;you people have been saying it wrong&#8221; change.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a massive rebrand of the company, they announced today on their <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DONTNOD_Ent\/status\/1531666814509383682\">Twitter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/dont-nod.com\/en\/dont-nod-unveils-a-new-visual-identity\/\">blog<\/a> that their name is now DON&#8217;T NOD, with a space and an apostrophe that weren&#8217;t there before.<\/p>\n<p>In their 20-second rebrand video, we can even see a sneak peek of what they might be working on next:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s an exciting time for us and we wanted to share our excitement with you! We have produced a reel to showcase our new logo. It\u2019s an adaptable design and can be tailored to represent different game genres and universes, so it\u2019s a good job we have several upcoming projects to test it out on\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The variations of the logo could hint at the projects currently in the works, and it certainly seems like at least one of them is being worked on at their newly-opened Montreal office, as the studio&#8217;s Executive Producer tweeted out a cryptic response:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udc40\ud83d\udc40\ud83d\udc40 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BX9Wwi2Q6p\">https:\/\/t.co\/BX9Wwi2Q6p<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/h7RxbmG4PJ\">pic.twitter.com\/h7RxbmG4PJ<\/a><\/span>\u2014 Luc Baghadoust (@luc_baghadoust) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/luc_baghadoust\/status\/1531669165291061250?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 31, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The blog also mentions that &#8220;Dontnodians are all working in several human-sized teams and on six exciting upcoming internal projects&#8221; across their 320-strong team.<\/p>\n<p>But, uh, what does the name <em>mean<\/em>? According to their blog, it came from their desire to &#8220;represent our tendency to be non-conventional as a company and in the games we create \u2013 as in, we DON\u2019T NOD along to everyone else\u2019s tune.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>What do you hope DON&#8217;T NOD&#8217;s next game will be?
