Team Ladybug, known for its work on the Castlevania<\/strong> inspired Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth<\/a>, has launched a brand new side-scrolling shooter called DRANIUS<\/strong>, and boy, does it look tasty. It’s a classic 2D shooter, but with hints of Ikaruga in the mix with the ability to absorb bullets.<\/p>\n

The only problem is that it’s not yet been confirmed for release on Switch. Boo. Still, we’re optimistic given the team’s past experience with the console, and we’d be remiss not to highlight the incredible looking gameplay.<\/p>\n

This is a side-scrolling shooting game in which the player takes control of the “Drainus”, a ship that can absorb energy bullets, to take down the countless enemy ships zipping through space. Energy absorbed can be used to enhance the ship’s functions, such as adding new weapons.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
