The latest update to the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app has gone live, and while it’s only a teeny, tiny one, it’s certainly a helpful one.<\/p>\n

While the app has always “been” in Dark Mode as a default, this new update will allow you to toggle between both Light and Dark Mode. This comes a few months after the company changed the entire layout and design of the service<\/a>, as well as allowing you to copy and paste your Switch code.<\/p>\n

To do this, all you need to do is go into Settings and select Dark Mode, where you’ll be given the option to turn it on, off, or let the app match your phone’s settings.<\/p>\n

Here are the updates for the app from the Google Play Store:<\/p>\n

– You can now switch between light mode and dark mode. Note: Supported for Android 10 and later.
– Improvements have been made for performance and ease of use.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There’s been a little bit of confusion around this, with the web versions for both Apple<\/a> and Android<\/a> stating that “Support for Dark Mode has been added”, which seems to suggest it was never there. Or that people have forgotten that the app is always “dark”.<\/p>\n
