Retro Forge Games, developer of the upcoming pixel art Metroidvania Souldiers<\/a>, has just today announced that the game is being delayed very slightly.<\/p>\n

The development team is very apologetic for this short notice rescheduling, as the game was originally due out this month, on 19th May. Now Metroidvania fans will have to wait a few more weeks to get their hands on the game.<\/p>\n

We know how eager you are to begin your adventure in Terragaya. However, the release for Souldiers, originally scheduled for May 19th, has to be<\/em> postponed<\/strong> despite our best efforts to<\/em> June 2nd<\/strong> on all platforms.

This is certainly not an announcement we wanted to make, we owe to be as transparent and honest as possible with you all. We’ve run into some unexpected difficulties and want to<\/em> make sure that the experience we’re offering you is the best it can be<\/strong>, so we’ve had to slightly delay the launch of the game. But don’t worry, it’s just a matter of two weeks!
