This means that the game will now fully support Japanese again and will also display kanji as well as kana characters \u2014 whereas the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2021\/05\/feature_save_me_mr_tako_dev_on_japan_franglais_and_parting_ways_with_nicalis\">previously delisted<\/a> version only used kana.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the full patch notes for the update, which went live on 28th April, straight from the <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/1472540\/view\/3224023791141941549\">game&#8217;s Steam page<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8211; Dialog box now shows the speaker name<br \/>&#8211; New Japanese localization added<br \/>&#8211; Fixed the king&#8217;s death message reappearing issue<br \/>&#8211; Fixed the sage item disappearing issue if the player leaves the house (until re-entering the town)<br \/>&#8211; Fixed the switch hidden behind the HUD issue in Octopus Temple<br \/>&#8211; Fixed an issue that occured in the volcano dungeon lava area<br \/>&#8211; Fixed the soft lock issue in Octopus Temple<br \/>&#8211; Fixed the Konami code room camera issue<br \/>&#8211; Fixed some typos<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><\/blockquote>\n<p>Limited Run Games are also releasing a physical edition, which you can pre-order right now until <strong>22 May at 8:59 PDT \/ 11:59pm EDT<\/strong>. Currently, this is only available in the US, but the Switch cart is region-free, so if you have the money in your octo-purse, you can still import the game.<\/p>\n<p>While there are four different versions on <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/limitedrungames.com\/collections\/save-me-mr-tako-definitive-edition\">Limited Run Games&#8217; store<\/a>, both plush bundles are sold old. Booo.
