The surreal first-person puzzle game Superliminal<\/a> from Pillow Castle Games is getting a gorgeous<\/em> physical release courtesy of Super Rare Games.<\/p>\n

Initially launched digitally in 2020, we thought Superliminal was a fantastic experience, blending unique puzzle gameplay with a surprisingly powerful underlying message. We slapped an 8\/10 at the end of our review<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The physical edition will be limited to 5000 copies in total, spread over three unique editions. The standard edition will release with a full-colour manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. This will be limited to 3000 copies.<\/p>\n

The steelbook edition will contain both the standard copy of the game alongside a fancy steelbook. You’ll also get postcard and a slipcover. These will be limited to just 750 copies.<\/p>\n

The big daddy of the bunch is the collector’s edition. This will come with both the standard game and steelbook, alongside a 32-page hardback book, a Superliminal pawn chess piece, 3 apple dice, and an optical illusion fridge magnet. This will all come housed in a collector’s edition box with a lenticular lid. 1250 copies of this edition will be made available.<\/p>\n

The physical edition will go on sale on May 5th at 6pm BST via the Super Rare Games website<\/a>. Prices have not been disclosed at the time of writing, but we will update the article once we know more.<\/p>\n
