As well as announcing the release date<\/a> for Splatoon 3<\/a>, Nintendo has revealed that the Octo Expansion<\/a> DLC for Splatoon 2<\/a> is now available to all Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack<\/a> subscribers.<\/p>\n

The DLC pack joins the Mario Kart 8 Course Booster Pass<\/a> and the Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise DLC<\/a> on the higher tier of Nintendo’s subscription service, alongside select Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis \/ Mega Drive titles.<\/p>\n

Starting today, active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can enjoy the Splatoon 2<\/em>: Octo Expansion DLC on the Nintendo Switch system at no additional cost.<\/strong> It\u2019s a great way to train up before the Splatoon 3<\/em> game launches for Nintendo Switch! Previously only available as a separate purchase, you now can dive into the large-scale, single-player expansion for Splatoon 2<\/em> with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In the Splatoon 2<\/em>: Octo Expansion DLC you play as Agent 8, an Octoling who awakens without her memories on a dark subway platform. Navigate a mysterious underground test facility in this adventure that spans 80 missions packed with challenges you won\u2019t find in the main game.
