Update 2:<\/strong> Warhorse’s PR Manager Tobi Stolz-Zwilling<\/a> has now shared the following message on Twitter, explaining how the studio is investigating how the listing appeared on Nintendo’s official release schedule in the first place:<\/p>\n

“As much as I would love a #kingdomcomedeliverance version on Switch – unfortunately there is none planned at the moment. We are investigating who was so ambitious to think differently but as for now… meh meh meeeeh….. Sorry guys.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Update:<\/strong> YouTube channel Sexy Biscuit<\/a> has reached out to Warhorse Studios, the developer of the game, and been told that the listing is a mistake. DMM games, the distributor of Kingdom Come: Deliverance<\/strong> in Japan, has plans to publish a new version for the PS4 in that region, but not<\/em> the Switch.<\/p>\n

While it’s normal for companies to deny knowledge of upcoming games before they’re in a position to officially comment, it would seem that Warhouse is being pretty clear that this is an error.<\/p>\n

Original Story [Mon 4th Jan, 2021 01:15 GMT]:<\/strong> Warhorse Studios’ 2018 medieval open-world role-playing title Kingdom Come: Deliverance<\/strong> has been spotted on Nintendo’s Switch release schedule.<\/p>\n

This particular version is listed as the “Royal Edition<\/strong>” and will apparently be released as a packaged and downloadable title on 18th February – the same day as Silver 2425<\/a><\/strong>. Here’s a look:<\/p>\n

There’s been no official announcement for a Switch version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance just yet, so if this is accurate, be on the lookout for a proper confirmation in the near future.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, here’s a bit about what to expect (via Steam<\/a>):<\/p>\n

“You’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This surprise listing obviously follows on from last week, when Rare’s classic N64 titles Banjo-Kazooie<\/a><\/strong> and Blast Corps<\/a><\/strong> were spotted for a Wii U Virtual Console release. In the end, Nintendo said it was a mistake<\/a>.<\/p>\n
