Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now in for 26th October – 1st November, revealing that Pikmin 3 Deluxe<\/a> has debuted at the top of the pile.<\/p>\n

The game sold an estimated 171,349 physical copies in its opening week which \u2013 according to Astris Advisory Japan founder, David Gibson<\/a> \u2013 puts it ahead of the Wii U original for the region. Contrastingly, it was recently reported that in the UK, the Wii U original actually sold more physical copies than the Switch version<\/a> in its first week.<\/p>\n

Plenty of other new games also made it into the top ten this week, including the new Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster<\/a> and Watch Dogs: Legion<\/strong>, although none of these could match Pikmin’s opening numbers.<\/p>\n
