This happened around the same time it went free-to-play.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, Psyonix hasn&#8217;t forgotten about it. Just hours ago, the developer responded to a player with the following tweet:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hey there Daniel! Kindly note, split-screen is currently unavailable for Nintendo Switch. Rest assured we&#8217;re working on resolving the issue, so please stay tuned for any new updates! Thank you for your patience.<\/span>\u2014 Rocket League Help (@RL_Support) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RL_Support\/status\/1320324213744553990?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 25, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The previous update via the official Rocket League support page was much the same:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;Split-screen mode is currently unavailable for Nintendo Switch. We are working on resolving this issue.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As you can probably guess, players who regularly used this mode before it went missing aren&#8217;t happy.
