Both titles were originally released on 18th September 2010 in Japan &#8211; with the western launch following in March 2011.<\/p>\n<p>These entries were some of the <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.co.jp\/ir\/en\/finance\/software\/ds.html\">top-selling games on the DS<\/a>, shifting more than 15 million units worldwide. Throughout this adventure, there were a total of 156 new Pok\u00e9mon to collect.
