This beta release includes several system level and quality of life improvements including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for C# 8<\/li>\n<li>Dark Mode IDE support (this was actually added to previous versions as well)<\/li>\n<li>C# compiler and IL2CPP compiler improvements<\/li>\n<li>EIP, or Editor Iteration Profiler, to help identify bottlenecks during domain reloads<\/li>\n<li>Unity Safe Mode for troubleshooting script errors on startup<\/li>\n<li>Profiler improvements<\/li>\n<li>New localization and UI design packages<\/li>\n<li>URP and HDRP pipelines both improved<\/li>\n<li>VFX Graph output events (lights, sounds, physics and custom C# code call-outs)<\/li>\n<li>Shader Graph<\/li>\n<li>New UI designer tools<\/li>\n<li>2D tools streamlined, repackaged and improved<\/li>\n<li>Support for Apple ARM on desktop architecture<\/li>\n<li>Much, much more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Be sure to check out the complete <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.unity3d.com\/2020\/09\/14\/unity-2020-2-beta-is-now-available-and-we-welcome-your-feedback\/\">release notes<\/a> for more details on the changes in Unity 2020.2.
