Last month, following the work of Jasper on the new Minecraft textures, Mojang released the first preview pack of the new Minecraft textures<\/a>, and today a follow-up release is now available, including changes made based on players feedback!<\/p>\n

Late last year, we released a new texture pack for the Java Edition of Minecraft, so we could get your feedback!<\/p>\n

We were always adamant that\u00a0these changes wouldn’t be implemented into Java Edition properly until we got your feedback<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 and now enough of you have screamed about the glass block for us to release an updated pack! This is\u00a0Version 2<\/strong>\u00a0and you can\u00a0click this line of text here to download it now!<\/a><\/p>\n

Here’s how you can install it in Minecraft Java!<\/p>\n

  1. Click this line of snazzy [blue] text to download the texture pack. Easy!<\/a> You’ll now have a\u00a0.zip file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Copy that .zip file.<\/li>\n
  3. Open Minecraft: Java Edition<\/li>\n
  4. On the main menu, select\u00a0Options<\/strong>\u00a0and then\u00a0Resource Packs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Select\u00a0Open Resource Pack Folder.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. This will open that folder. Now just paste the\u00a0.zip file<\/strong>\u00a0you copied earlier into this folder.<\/li>\n
  7. Once it’s finished pasting, close the folder and go back to Minecraft.<\/li>\n
  8. Under Resource Packs, you’ll see a list of\u00a0Available Resource Packs<\/strong>. Your new texture pack should now be on this list! Select it and you’re done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n
