{"id":117309,"date":"2020-08-29T07:35:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-29T07:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2020\/08\/emulation_expert_m2_expects_to_collaborate_with_sega_again_in_the_future"},"modified":"2020-08-29T07:35:00","modified_gmt":"2020-08-29T07:35:00","slug":"emulation-expert-m2-expects-to-collaborate-with-sega-again-in-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sickgaming.net\/blog\/2020\/08\/29\/emulation-expert-m2-expects-to-collaborate-with-sega-again-in-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Emulation Expert M2 Expects To Collaborate With Sega Again In The Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"media_block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/4e4867655cd00\/large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/4e4867655cd00\/small.jpg\" class=\"media_thumbnail\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/4e4867655cd00\/1280x720.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"picture strip\"><\/figure>\n<p>Earlier this week, Sega ended its Ages line with the release of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/sega_ages_herzog_zwei\">Herzog Zwei<\/a><\/strong> in Japan (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/reviews\/switch-eshop\/sega_ages_herzog_zwei\">it&#8217;s magnificent, by the way<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In a follow-up interview with Japanese outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/game.watch.impress.co.jp\/docs\/interview\/1270454.html\"><strong>Game Watch<\/strong><\/a>, Sega&#8217;s Yosuke Okunari said the team was already working on its next project and <em>hoped<\/em> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2020\/08\/sega_says_it_wants_to_re-release_more_past_titles_on_nintendo_switch\">continue re-releasing past titles on Switch<\/a>, but couldn&#8217;t reveal if M2 would be involved in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Sega&#8217;s collaborations with M2 <em>will<\/em> seemingly continue in the future &#8211; with the M2 Twitter account recently posting the following message in response to some lovely fan art by <strong><a class=\"external\" data-focusable=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tracker_TD\" role=\"link\">@Tracker_TD<\/a><\/strong>, and asking fans to &#8220;please stay tuned&#8221;:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Thank you for the great art, and your continued support! Personally speaking, Matsuoka still wants to see Sega&#8217;s &#8220;entire history of interactive games&#8221; make a return.<\/p>\n<p>The Sega Ages line officially ended with a total of 19 games.
