By Xbox\u2019s own admission, the announcement lines up with news that 343 Industry\u2019s <em>Halo Infinite <\/em>has been <a href=\"https:\/\/gamasutra.com\/view\/news\/368028\/Halo_Infinite_delay_pushes_it_into_2021_and_out_of_Xbox_Series_X_launch_lineup.php\">delayed into 2021<\/a>&nbsp;and is no longer marked down as an Xbox Series X launch title.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Xbox head Phil Spencer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gamasutra.com\/view\/news\/360591\/Phil_Spencer_talks_how_Xbox_teams_are_weathering_remote_work_in_the_leadup_to_Series_X.php\">previously said<\/a> that, hypothetically speaking, Microsoft wouldn\u2019t delay the launch of its next-gen console if a flagship game like <em>Halo<\/em> were to be delayed.
