According to Google translate, the message attached to the tweet is &#8220;I did it&#8221; &#8211; in other words, it&#8217;s likely a cruel joke.<\/p>\n<p>The reason this Twitter account caught the attention of so many in the first place, is not only because the attached email looked like a Nintendo one, but the fact it was created in March 2020 &#8211; the same time as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/supermario35th\">SuperMario35th<\/a><\/strong> Twitter page. As one reply puts it:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><a class=\"external\" data-focusable=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Horhey_FF\" role=\"link\">@Horhey_FF<\/a> Imagine creating an account 4 months ago just to create a fake leak months later<br \/>That\u2019s some next level s***<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While some F-Zero fans remain hopeful, others say they were never convinced in the first place:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HydraBravoWC\/status\/1285248239994908681\">@HydraBravoWC<\/a> F-Zero fan here, you never fooled me. All leaks involving F-Zero are fake.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, now all the attention has turned to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2020\/07\/fans_have_discovered_a_private_mario_35th_anniversary_twitter_account\">Super Mario Twitter account that was discovered earlier last week<\/a>. As previously mentioned, it was also created in March of this year and has a similar looking email address linked to it. At the time of writing, no tweets have been made by this account.<\/p>\n<p>Is the Mario account also a fake?
