With all of the big reveals and news coming out of Ubisoft Forward, there\u2019s never been a better time to get caught up on classic Ubisoft franchises ahead of our upcoming releases, thanks to some big discounts. Before taking a trip to ninth-century England in Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla<\/em>, why not journey back to Ancient Greece in the Assassin\u2019s Creed Odyssey Ultimate Edition<\/em> for $15<\/a>? Maybe before heading to a near-future London in Watch Dogs Legion<\/em>, you\u2019d like to visit the streets of San Francisco in Watch Dogs 2<\/em> for $10<\/a> (all editions are 80% off), or Chicago in the original Watch_Dogs<\/em> for $7<\/a>? Or perhaps you fancy a getaway to the shores of the Rook Islands of Far Cry 3<\/em> for $3<\/a> before you explore Yara in Far Cry 6<\/em>.<\/p>\n

These and many other Ubisoft games are heavily discounted throughout the Ubisoft Forward sale, which runs from July 13-20. Both Far Cry 4<\/a><\/em> and Far Cry 5<\/a><\/em> are also heavily discounted, starting at $6 and $9, respectively. All editions of Assassin\u2019s Creed Origins<\/em> are 80% off<\/a>. The Watch_Dogs Complete Edition<\/em> is available for 70% off<\/a>! The event kicked off with a pre-show, in which various teams from around Ubisoft shared updates on some existing titles. Fans of The Crew 2 <\/em>will be happy to hear that the Summer in Hollywood event is underway and features the Flashy 80\u2019s update, which will include legendary cars like the DeLorean. On the Trials: Rising<\/em> front, the longest track in Trials<\/em> franchise history, called the Gigatrack, will be released later this week for free.<\/p>\n

Finally, there\u2019s the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint<\/em> title update 2.1.0, which will be hitting for all players on July 15. The big news here is that AI teammates are being added to the game, which will allow solo players to choose how they play. The title update will also add a new limited-time event kicked off on July 16, excitedly called Resistance! The event will see players attempting to save prisoners, attack outposts and stop convoys. Once the pre-show was over, the main event kicked off. The first game we were given a look at was Watch Dogs: Legion<\/em>. After an intensely kinetic short film directed by Emmy Award winner Alberto Mielgo, we were introduced to the myriad characters you\u2019ll be able to play as when Watch Dogs: Legion<\/em> is comes to Xbox One on October 29. The game will set players loose in a dystopian vision of London where everyone in the open world is a potential playable character. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer also shared that anyone who purchases the game on Xbox One can also upgrade to the Optimized for Xbox Series X version \u2013 which takes full advantage of the next-gen console\u2019s ray-tracing capabilities \u2013 once available at no extra cost using Smart Delivery. Next up was the highly-anticipated Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla<\/em>, which follows the thrilling saga of Eivor, a fierce Viking raider, as they search for a new home for their people among the fractured kingdoms of 9th century England. Throughout the journey, you can raid valuable sites, recruit deadly raiders, upgrade your settlement, and assault massive, fortified strongholds. Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla<\/em> will be hitting Xbox One on November 17 and those who purchase the game on Xbox One can also upgrade to the Optimized for Xbox Series X version once available at no extra cost using Smart Delivery. The final surprise of the day was the announcement of Far Cry 6<\/em>, which will be coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox One on February 18, 2021. This time out, you\u2019ll be cast in the role of a freedom fighter. As you struggle for the liberation of your homeland, Yara, there is one man above all who stands in your way: Ant\u00f3n Castillo, portrayed by Emmy Award Nominee Giancarlo Esposito.
