Last month, when The Pok\u00e9mon Company revealed its new online battle game Pok\u00e9mon Unite<\/a><\/strong>, eagle-eyed trainers noticed the Nintendo Switch featured in the promotional trailer was incorrectly mirrored<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon Company has now addressed this editing error (as can be seen above), but in the process, it’s taken down all of the existing videos. The official Pok\u00e9mon Singapore YouTube channel confirms this:<\/p>\n

Due to inaccuracy in the footage, we corrected the video and reuploaded it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The original Pok\u00e9mon Unite presentation video – which racked up more than 150,000 dislikes in less than a day<\/a> – has now also been privatised<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To put things in perspective, the latest reveal by The Pok\u00e9mon Company managed to outdo Nintendo’s E3 2015 announcement – Metroid Prime: Federation Force<\/a><\/strong> for the 3DS, which has over 90,000 dislikes to date.<\/p>\n

As you can imagine, The Pok\u00e9mon Company’s decision to re-upload all of its videos related to Pok\u00e9mon Unite has only enraged some fans. Yet again, the amount of ‘Dislikes’ on each of these videos is quickly outpacing the number ‘Likes’.<\/p>\n

Here’s one of the many comments underneath the re-uploads:<\/p>\n

V\u00edctor Vera22<\/a> We don’t like what The Pokemon Company has become, how would you understand? Doing this, deleting the old videos and reuploading them only demonstrates that you don’t care about fans, you just care about image. It’s sad.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While many Pok\u00e9mon fans believe The Pokemon Company did this because it is worried about its “image”, Serebii.net webmaster Joe Merrick thinks if it was that concerned about fan reception to Unite, it would take the following action:<\/p>\n

If they wanted to remove dislikes, they’d just disable them<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
