Square Enix has updated the Switch version of its 1997 role-playing game <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/final_fantasy_vii\">Final Fantasy VII<\/a><\/strong>. It fixes a few issues that players have been encountering.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the full patch notes for version 1.0.2, courtesy of Perfectly-Nintendo:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8211; Fixed a progression stopper under certain conditions.<br \/>&#8211; Fixed an issue with a Save Crystal.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The update before this (version 1.0.1) was released in May last year and fixed an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2019\/05\/final_fantasy_vii_switch_update_finally_fixes_that_annoying_music_bug\">annoying music bug<\/a> that was somehow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2019\/03\/looks_like_final_fantasy_vii_on_switch_has_reintroduced_a_bug_that_was_patched_out_years_ago\">reintroduced in the latest release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While this latest update isn&#8217;t much, it&#8217;s still nice to see Square Enix supporting a classic like this with minor patches.
