This is the evolution of Foongus.<\/p>\n<p>You can see it around the 2:53 mark in a brief shot featuring the expansion logos:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture strip\"><figcaption class=\"caption\">See the smaller image at the top left side of the screen?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"picture strip\"><figcaption class=\"caption\">Here&#8217;s a close-up&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"picture strip\"><figcaption class=\"caption\">And this is the Pok\u00e9mon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As this particular clip appears on the <em>Isle of Armor<\/em> side of the screen, there&#8217;s a <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/nintendosoup.com\/random-fans-spot-amoonguss-in-pokemon-sword-shield-dlc-trailer-suggesting-its-return\/\">theory<\/a> this Pok\u00e9mon will show up in part one of the Expansion Pass later this month.<\/p>\n<p>The possible return of this &#8216;mon is considered to be a big deal by the competitive scene, as it&#8217;s become a staple of the <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/us\/pokemon-news\/2020-pokemon-video-game-championships-vgc-format-rules\/\">Pok\u00e9mon Video Game Championships<\/a> over the years.
