The clear plastic means you can still see the dock underneath \u2013 so that&#8217;s something \u2013 but outside of that, we&#8217;re not <em>entirely<\/em> sure why this needs to exist.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, we&#8217;ve seen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/03\/protect_your_nintendo_switchs_screen_with_these_fetching_dock_covers\">dock covers<\/a> in the past, but those are usually aimed at giving the dock a splash of colour or preventing it from scratching the screen of the Switch when it&#8217;s docked.
