There&#8217;s no word on when the western release is going to take a place \u2013 they usually follow shortly afterwards \u2013 but you can always use our guide on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2020\/05\/guide_how_to_buy_nintendo_switch_games_from_the_japanese_eshop_-_region_free_accounts\">how to purchase games from Japan<\/a> if you can&#8217;t wait.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Original Story [Thu 16th Apr, 2020 09:30 BST]:<\/strong> Sega has announced that <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/sega_ages_thunder_force_ac\">Thunder Force AC<\/a><\/strong> will be coming to the Switch as part of its Sega Ages range soon, and will cost 999 yen in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the Mega Drive \/ Genesis title <strong>Thunder Force III<\/strong>, Thunder Force AC was released in arcades around the same time and was ported to the SNES in the form of <strong>Thunder Spirits<\/strong> \u2013 which sadly wasn&#8217;t much good.<\/p>\n<p>As was the case with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/sega_ages_thunder_force_iv\">Thunder Force IV<\/a><\/strong>, a Kids mode is included which not only grants you higher attack power but also prevents you from losing all of your weapons upon death. The original arcade game had mono sound, but this has been upgraded to stereo in this version, and HD Rumble has been added, too.
