Your responsibility will be to organize and track the team\u2019s QA process, including playtesting feedback, bug tracking, localization &amp; platform certification.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We\u2019re looking for someone who can catch and address problems quickly and effectively, can communicate with anyone on the team to get results, and has a deep understanding of our production process. Come help us build better things!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Your Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consistently playtesting our levels and helping keep builds updated and maintained<\/li>\n<li>Organizing external playtests and tracking resulting bugs and feedback<\/li>\n<li>Working with remote QA teams and managing bug-tracking software<\/li>\n<li>Managing &amp; tracking localization &amp; platform certification tasks<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with project leads to address the QA task backlog<\/li>\n<li>Creating and managing tasks while also identifying, tracking and addressing risks<\/li>\n<li>Work with the publisher to ship the game on multiple platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with bug-tracking systems (such as DevTrack, JIRA or BugZilla)<\/li>\n<li>Experience shipping at least one game on PC and\/or console<\/li>\n<li>Experience with localization &amp; platform cert processes<\/li>\n<li>Previous QA experience on games &#8211; at least 2 years on PC or console<\/li>\n<li>Experience with milestone tracking<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and familiarity with Agile and Scrum development framework<\/li>\n<li>Strong reading, writing and spelling skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical aptitude<\/li>\n<li>A passion for games &#8211; third person action and platformer games particularly<\/li>\n<li>Ample experience with current generation of gaming consoles<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Independently motivated<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and assertive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Authorized to work in the US<\/li>\n<li>Currently local to the Los Angeles area, or willing relocate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Bonus<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>QA experience in a large team environment<\/li>\n<li>Any additional and related skills in games (illustration, modeling, writing, production)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Unreal 4<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested?&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.gamasutra.com\/job\/quality-assurance-manager-culver-city-california-33714\">Apply now<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re just starting out, looking for something new, or just seeing what&#8217;s out there, the Gamasutra Job Board is the place where game developers move ahead in their careers.<\/p>\n<p>Gamasutra&#8217;s Job Board is the most diverse, most active, and most established board of its kind in the video game industry, serving companies of all sizes, from indie to triple-A.<\/p>\n<p>Looking for a new job?&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.gamasutra.com\/search\">Get started here<\/a>.
