It&#8217;s a monster-catching game packed with creatures that can evolve and do battle, joining a genre of games that Pok\u00e9mon has essentially ruled ever since <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/gameboy\/pokemon_red_and_blue\"><strong>Red and Blue<\/strong><\/a> experienced mainstream success in the &#8217;90s.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a winning formula, for sure, but it takes something pretty special to tempt Pok\u00e9mon players away for long.
