{"id":112815,"date":"2020-05-12T20:28:02","date_gmt":"2020-05-12T20:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gamefromscratch.com\/post.aspx?id=3454f910-91a3-43d0-b323-05ea43990f07"},"modified":"2020-05-12T20:28:02","modified_gmt":"2020-05-12T20:28:02","slug":"concept-graph-procedural-content-generation-for-godot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sickgaming.net\/blog\/2020\/05\/12\/concept-graph-procedural-content-generation-for-godot\/","title":{"rendered":"Concept Graph\u2013Procedural Content Generation For Godot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/HungryProton\/concept_graph\">Concept Graph<\/a> is perhaps the single most impressive plugin I have seen yet for the Godot game engine.&nbsp; It aims to bring the world of procedural content generation to the Godot game engine and quite frankly, even in an early experimental state, it succeeds.&nbsp; Even in my short hands-on time with Concept Graph, I can really see how this could be a game changer for many Godot developers.<\/p>\n<p>Described <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/HungryProton\/concept_graph\/wiki\">on the Wiki<\/a> accordingly:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Concept Graph is a free node based content creation tool integrated in the Godot game <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"253\" align=\"right\" alt=\"concept_graph_0 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sickgaming.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/concept-graph-procedural-content-generation-for-godot.png\">engine. The node graph is composed of many small independent nodes connected together to create a complex result.<\/p>\n<h4>Current status<\/h4>\n<p>This add-on is still <strong>in alpha<\/strong>. It&#8217;s not considered production ready, but if you want to play around with it, I&#8217;d love to hear your feedback on the UI, general usability, features or anything else.
