Sure, the gamer stereotype suggests we&#8217;re all pretty well equipped for staying inside all day, but in reality it&#8217;s understandable to be struggling given the circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>As such, Joe Merrick &#8211; founder of <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/\">Serebii.net<\/a> and occasional Nintendo Life contributor &#8211; has kickstarted a new Pok\u00e9mon community initiative to get fans of the series playing together and enjoying each others&#8217; company in an online setting.<\/p>\n<p>For one hour each Wednesday, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/pokemon_sword_and_shield\"><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/strong><\/a> players are invited to jump into the games&#8217; online Max Raid Battles; 50 Pok\u00e9mon content creators are already on board who will be streaming their Raids on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" align=\"center\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We&#8217;re in a dark time right now, and it sucks.
