Make the most of My Nintendo with our top five tips!<\/h2>\n

As you may know, you can earn My Nintendo points in all kinds of ways, including completing missions, playing mobile games like Animal Crossing\u2122: Pocket Camp<\/a> , and visiting Nintendo eShop. Check out the Missions page<\/a><\/strong> any time for more ways to earn points.<\/p>\n

Tip 1:
Earn Gold Points on eligible purchases of packaged versions of Nintendo Switch\u2122 games.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll earn Gold Points on eligible digital game purchases automatically, but you can also earn some points for games you buy at the store.<\/p>\n

How to get your points:<\/u><\/p>\n

  1. Insert the Game Card into the Nintendo Switch console.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Highlight the game icon on the Nintendo Switch HOME menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Press the + or \u2013 button to access the software Options menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Highlight \u201cMy Nintendo Rewards Program,\u201d then select \u201cEarn Points (Game Card version only).\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select the Nintendo Account where you want to apply the Gold Points.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Gold Points can be redeemed for rewards such as downloadable mini-guides for the Legend of Zelda\u2122: Breath of the Wild<\/a>, Mario Kart\u2122 8 Deluxe<\/a>, Splatoon\u2122 2<\/a>, or Super Mario Odyssey\u2122<\/a> games! Check out these and other rewards on the My Nintendo site.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Tip 2:
    You can earn 30 Platinum Points per week by signing in to the official Nintendo website.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    See that \u201clog in\u201d menu on the top right of the page on Nintendo.com? Log in to score points, as well as view your total My Nintendo point balance, plus notifications about new games and more.<\/p>\n

    Tip 3:
    Redeem regular Platinum Points for rewards you can use in Nintendo-published mobile games.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    After earning points for completing missions, you can use them on the My Nintendo website toward special in-game rewards for mobile games such as Animal Crossing\u2122: Pocket Camp<\/a> (check out the OK Motors cap<\/a> and jacket<\/a>!), Super Mario Run<\/a> (spruce up your Kingdom with a gold Mario statue<\/a>!), and Fire Emblem Heroes<\/a> (10 Orbs<\/a> to summoning units and other features). Check out the “Redeem points”<\/a> page any time to redeem points for a variety of rewards.<\/p>\n

    Tip 4:
    Set your Mii\u2122 character by linking your Nintendo Network ID and earn more Platinum Points.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Did you know that you can display your Mii character on the My Nintendo site? By linking your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account, you can display your Mii character that is associated to your Nintendo Network ID. Linking will also earn you 100 Platinum Points! Visit support<\/u><\/a> to see how to link these to your Nintendo Account.
    Bonus tip: you may find a surprising way to earn more points on the site, too.<\/p>\n

    Tip 5:
    You can always redownload your digital rewards.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Don\u2019t worry about losing digital rewards such as wallpapers and digital games. Once you redeem your points for an item, you can find it again on the Points History<\/a> page of My Nintendo, accessible via the Point Summary<\/a> link on the main menu.<\/p>\n
