It’s been quite an eventful week for The Wonderful 101<\/a><\/strong>. In this short time frame, PlatinumGames announced<\/a> it would be reviving the game via Kickstarter for multiple platforms \u2013 including the Nintendo Switch \u2013 and it raised more than $1 million<\/a> in just 12 hours. Since then, it has received additional stretch goals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, in the latest update, it’s reached the $1.5 million stretch goal “Luka’s First Mission” \u2013 starring the young hero of the same name. This mission is a side-scrolling action spin-off and will have a “completely different style” to the main game. Here’s the backstory:<\/p>\n

Luka doesn\u2019t know that his teacher is actually Wonder-Red. And he hates the Wonderful 100 due to a certain reason, despite the fact that they\u2019re heroes who protect the Earth. Why does he hate them? You\u2019ll have to play the game and enjoy the story to find out!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As part of this update, new stretch goals have also been revealed. If the Kickstarter campaign hits $1.75 million, the game will get a remix soundtrack featuring a “special” secret guest. In addition to this, a brand new adventure titled “Luka’s Second Mission” will be created when $2 million is reached.<\/p>\n
