In 2018, for example, an indie developer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/07\/nintendors_virtual_boy_gets_a_revival_thanks_to_emulator_for_oculus_rift_vr_headset\">released<\/a> a Virtual Boy emulator for the Oculus Rift headset &#8211; allowing users to play this short-lived generation of Nintendo gaming on modern VR technology.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the retro console modders at iFixRetro have transformed an old Virtual Boy into an entire console. Instead of having to put your eyes up to the red monochrome head-mounted display, this unique design allows you to connect the system directly to the television.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Consolized a Virtual Boy system with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/furrtek?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Furrtek<\/a> Virtual Tap board and servo emulator while using the Nintendo Multiout Port for RGB display and with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/marcus919?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Marcus919<\/a> 3D Printed case! After this, they placed the Virtual Boy headset motherboard inside it, along with a Virtual Tap board and servo emulator.<\/p>\n<p>The servo emulator was created by a console modder known as <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.retrorgb.com\/virtual-boy-servo-and-virtual-tap-kits-now-available.html\">Furrtek<\/a>, and &#8220;tricks&#8221; the headset hardware &#8211; enabling it to output to a television.
