Now, in the latest update, the video game publisher and developer has gone and trademarked <strong>Mr. Driller Drill Land<\/strong> in Europe. As explained by Gematsu, Drill Land is the name of a Mr. Driller title that was first released on the GameCube in 2002 but was never made available outside of Japan.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture strip\"><figcaption class=\"caption\">The GameCube box art for the Japan-only release<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There&#8217;s now a theory the Japanese company could be working on a Mr. Driller remaster. It&#8217;s not all that crazy when considering the fact it released <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/katamari_damacy_reroll\">Katamari Damacy REROLL<\/a><\/strong> in 2018. Interestingly, when Katamari first resurfaced, it had an &#8220;encore&#8221; subtitle. You might recall how Mr. Driller&#8217;s recent Japanese trademark listing had the same word attached to it.<\/p>\n<p>Putting two and two together, it seems like Bandai Namco could be working on a remaster of this Japan-only GameCube exclusive.
