It’s not often you learn about the length of a 2D sidescroller prior to its release, but during a recent interview with Nintendo Enthusiast, the game’s creator spoke about how long it takes to beat the current build:

Personally, I can complete the game in a few hours, but playtesters are taking anywhere from 4 to 10 hours to reach the ending. This is not counting feats / achievements.

Given the type of game Cyber Shadow is, we’d say anywhere between 4 to 10 hours is a good amount. A lot of players are likely to find themselves replaying levels in an attempt to perfect their runs, and as noted by Hunziker, there’s plenty of in-game milestones to work towards as well.

When it does arrive, Cyber Shadow is expected to be priced at US$14.99. At the moment, though, there’s no word on when it will be released. How do you feel about “4 to 10 hours” worth of gameplay?
